Advanced Ecology, Ltd. (AEL) offers custom mapping for landowners, hunting clubs, or anyone seeking high quality, large format maps (34” x 44”). We create and customize maps utilizing a blend of GIS technology and information provided by the landowner or property manager.

Our maps may depict property boundaries, roads, buildings, and water resources, as well as additional features that are of interest to the client.  Each map is displayed on either matte or glossy paper with the following data frames:

• Aerial photography
• NRCS Soil Series boundaries
• USGS 7.5’ topographic quads
• Property location
• Habitat types

We also offer the opportunity for a professional wildlife biologist to review your property / hunting club and make recommendations on stand placement, and proper food plot size / placement, as well as other needs.  Recommendations will be based on drainage basins, topographic features, and habitat type coupled with over 75 years combined experience of the AEL biologist staff.

Once a map is completed, all of the files are archived so AEL can update your custom map annually or as needed.
